TechWiz Assure · Technical assessment & FAT/SAT

Every test.
Evidence to acceptance.

Plan equipment assessments, record what happened and keep the evidence with the decision. A dedicated workspace for technical assessments, factory and site acceptance, commissioning and handover.

Available as a Windows desktop preview. Agree supported equipment and validation scope before field deployment.

01

On the target device

Collect supported Windows evidence using the permissions of the local assessment application.

02

From a test laptop

Collect from supported Windows targets through configured WinRM or Cisco IOS equipment over SSH, within the agreed test scope.

03

Guided electronic assessment

Work through product-specific objectives and capture observed values, screenshots and native report exports when automated collection is unavailable.

Use a mix of collection and guided checks within the same assessment. Automation depends on the product, installed roles and access available; 709 objectives does not mean 709 automated checks.

From an observed result
to a reviewed decision.

01

Equipment-based test plans

18 equipment profiles and 709 reference objectives in the current preview. Define approved criteria and applicability for each assessment.

02

Evidence attached to the test

Retain command output, uploaded reports, screenshots, asset identity, timestamps and file hashes together.

03

Engineer-reviewed results

Collected data remains for evaluation. Record a result against the approved criterion and retain an independent reviewer’s rationale.

04

Punch items and retesting

Track failures, corrective actions and later reviewed test results. Keep execution history visible through closure.

05

FAT to SAT continuity

Organise witnessed inspections by project stage and compare retained factory evidence with site evidence.

06

Evidence handover

Export assessment reports and a ZIP containing per-test records, original evidence and a checksum manifest.

Technical assessment and witnessed acceptance.

01

Define the scope

Select equipment and applicable objectives, or prepare a FAT/SAT inspection programme with approved criteria.

02

Collect and observe

Run selected supported queries or follow guided checks. Record observations and evidence.

03

Evaluate and review

Record outcomes and review rationale. Missing evidence and unfinished tests remain visible.

04

Retest and hand over

Resolve punch items, retain retest history and export the project’s evidence package.

Across the industrial estate.

Profiles cover Windows workstations and servers, Active Directory, network devices, firewalls, controllers, HMI and engineering applications, endpoint protection, monitoring, backup, patch management, hypervisors and industrial devices.

01Supported collection

Fixed evidence queries for Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V and Cisco IOS profiles.

02Guided product review

Capture evidence from OEM tools and management consoles for profiles without an enabled connector.

03Visible limitations

Unavailable commands, incomplete evidence and reference gaps stay visible for engineering review.

Screenshots, exports and the decision behind them.

Attach existing screenshots and native reports, or capture an assessor-selected screen. Where screen sharing is available, optional automatic capture records the selected window as command results arrive. Confirm that the image shows the intended equipment and test; a network connection alone does not provide target-screen access.

Assure is an assessment and acceptance workspace. It does not certify compliance or automatically execute disruptive tests. The current preview requires a controlled field pilot; supported connections and screen capture depend on the target environment.
